Positively Organized Consulting is headed by Roxy Hambleton, a native Floridian and graduate of the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Roxy was commissioned in the United States Air Force. As an Executive Officer for eight years she honed her time management and organizational skills. After her military service, Roxy completed an Editing & Proofreading certification program from the USDA and began freelance proofreading—on occasion she still proofreads textbooks for Harvard University Press. An incredible attention to detail is required as a proofreader. She brings this attention to detail to her work as a Certified Professional Organizer and Executive Business Coach. Roxy began Positively Organized with Residential (www.positively-organized.com) and Business clients but soon realized her passion lay in helping business owners, managers, and executives organize not only their space, but their life. It became evident to her that these business leaders craved the peace of mind that comes with knowing they were on top of their day, not controlled by it.
Representative clients include: Professors, PhD students, medical practices, financial specialists, real estate professionals, entrepreneurs, mid-level managers, CEO/COO-level executives, members of the clergy, sales representatives, artists, government agencies and individuals, and therapists. Positively Organized Consulting has been featured in local magazines, newspaper articles, and television programs throughout Southwest Florida and offers pro-bono services to local charities. Roxy has also worked extensively with individuals with Attention Deficit Disorder. Roxy formalized her natural abilities in Organizing and Coaching by becoming a graduate of the inaugural class of Certified Professional Organizers (she was one of the first 200 organizers to receive certification, placing her among the top 5 percent of organizers in the nation). She also trained under Master Certified Coach Marion Franklin and joined both the International Coaching Federation and the International Association of Coaches specializing in Business Coaching. As a business coach she works one-on-one with those clients who want to improve their lives and have productive work days by making positive changes and having the willingness to share, be truthful, and be open to new possibilities and experiences.
